My (ex) husband, Mike and I were great friends and we all worked at Texas Instruments together on the Hudson River. Whenever Jim was in Maine, he would come for a visit, mandolin in tow. He will be forever remembered as a kind and generous man, helping out w/building projects around the home or snorkeling over on Sebago Lake when the chores were done. It was a wonderful kinship.

Jim was my good friend for more than 30 years. He never asked much from this world, but he certainly made it a better place for the rest of us who knew him. I will always remember his gentleness, his pride in doing things right and his sense of responsibility. You could count on Jim. He will be missed.

I wish to offer my sympathy on your loss. Jim was a friend and I enjoyed the short time I have known him. I was surprised to read about his passing in the paper since I just saw him about two weeks ago and he looked fine. Again, my sympathy. Carol (former owner of Country Style Restaurant)
