Dear Sue and family, For nearly 2 years I worked in the office next to Phil. We became friends and I saw him as a kind and gentle man who really loved his family. I also believe he had a strong faith in Jesus. A hard working IBMer who was dedicated to his work, but often frustrated by poor indifferent management and lack of recognition...
I was surprised by his demise and share your grief. I pray that the Lord will comfort you and your sons.

Dear Sue and family,
We were so sorry to hear of Phil's passing. I was unable to attend the services and did not have your address to send a mass card. I recently found out that my partner Rich Bardy and Phil were co-workers. We ran into Eric Damke and his wife and he told Rich about Phil being ill and I was so surprised to hear that they all knew each other. When things settle down for you, let me know and we'll get together. Just send me an email when you can. My love to you and the boys and warmest regards to your sister from me.
