Obituary of Jacqueline Ruppert Frost

Jacqueline Ruppert Frost Jacqueline Ruppert Frost of Poughkeepsie entered into rest Saturday January 13, 2006 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 55. Daughter of Elsie August Ruppert and the late Conrad Jack Ruppert she was born September 3, 1951 in Flushing, NY. On October 13, 2001 she married Frederick A. Frost in Hopewell Junction; Mr. Frost survives at home. Jackie was a graduate of Roy C. Ketcham High School, Smith College and she received her masters degree from Columbia University and her Jurist Doctorate from Fordham Law School. She was the former Managing Attorney for Legal Services of the Hudson Valley She is a member of St. Gregory Orthodox Church and formerly a member of Zion Episcopal Church and Resurrection Church. Jackie also volunteered at Birthright and other social outreach organizations. In addition to her mother and husband she is survived by her brother Conrad J. Ruppert, Jr. and his wife Joann of W. Warwick, RI, her stepson Christopher Frost of Tokyo, Japan, her stepdaughter Kristyn Frost of Hopewell Junction, her step grandson Wayne Corbin, III of LaGrange, two nieces Jessica Munro and Abigail Ruppert, her nephew Matthew Ruppert and several cousins. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Gregory Orthodox Church, 1824 Route 376, Wappingers Falls at 7 P.M. on Tuesday January 16, 2007. A Liturgy will begin at 9 A.M. Wednesday January 17, 2006 at the Church .Burial will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.. Arrangements are under the direction of Straub Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
