Mary and Family,
I was only fortunate to know you and Bob for the past 8 years or so. He was a great friend, mentor, and willing teacher not only about fishing but life lessons. Will be greatly missed by all, but I know by his very special partner most of all!!

Mary, I am a friend of Mike West. Bob, Mike and I often fished together in Rhode Island,both on the beach and on Mike and Bob's boats. I met Bob about seven or eight years ago fishing with Mike. I just want to say how sorry I am over his passing. Bob was a wonderful man and I always enjoyed his company when we fished together. His sense of humor was equaled by none and his generous heart and friendship will be greatly missed. Please accept by deepest sympathies on his passing. I wish you and your family well.

We are so very sorry to learn of Bob's passing. We will never forget how he came to speak with Eli when he heard that Eli was to have a quad. His assurances meant a lot and really calmed Eli. He was a good man and will be missed.

Dear Mary,
I worked with Captain Bob at IBM Poughkeepsie & enjoyed his boat & fishing talk & trips. My friend Bill Hennig & I went fishing with him at Point Judith, Rhode Island in 1987 & have a picture of I holding 2 nice blue fish & Bob took the picture. We had a wonderful trip & Bob was a great host. Thanks for sharing him that day. My deepest sympathy to you & family. You never stop thinking about great fishing trips. Lots of love, Don Bruyn

Hi, I knew Bob from work years ago. I was just starting out and he was about to retire. Captain Bob, the folks called him. It's good to know he had time to enjoy some boating experiences in his retirement. With our condolences, The Hegle Family.
