I was so sorry to hear that Grace passed on. I met Grace through my Mom, Florence Herring. My Mom use to do Grace's wash. I remember some memberable times around the kitchen table with Grace. She will be well missed

I was so saddened to read of Grace's passing. I worked with Grace at Myers Corners Elementary School for many years. She was always gracious, kind and helpful to me. She substituted in my class several times and I always enjoyed talking to her afterwards and sharing information about my students. I enjoyed her spirit and sense of humor. She will be missed. Sincerely, Carole Di Nonno.

You have my deepest sympathy. At times like these we need to rely on God's Word the Bible for comfort, scriptures like Romans 15:4, Isaiah 41:10 and Psalms 55:22 are so very comforting but also gives us hope for the future.

Grace was a part of our family all her life. We grew up with her and Aunt Helen (the woman who raised her) here in Chazy. She was with us at every holiday and she and my parents were the closest of friends throught out their lives. She helped to create some of the greatest memories we have of growing up. I know she is happily have a reunion with Aunt Helen, Esther and Mac, Homer, and the rest of her extended family here in Chazy.

I am writing this because I read "Miss McLaughlin's obituary and I realized she was my 1st grade teacher in 1951 in what is now the Wappingers Junior high school on or near Remson Avenue. I have happy memories of being in her class back then and remember her student teacher, Miss Sheen. I was a 1st grade teacher in Arlington for 41 years and retired in June. I am sorry I didn't realize Miss McLaughlin was still in the area-it would have been fun to have met. My condolences to her family.
