My deepest sympathy to all of you. I met Greg three years ago when I came to Marist for IBM Faculty Summer Institute. He is a gentleman and IBM expert. He helped Computer Science Program faculty at Houston Community College a great deal in setting up remote access accounts from Marist. He was friendly and patient. We will miss him.

I have never had the pleasure of meeting Greg face to face, but have corresponded with him via e-mail. I was profoundly saddened by the news of his passing. During the numerous and helpful correspondences I had with Greg, I found him be a genuine, dedicated professional with a terrific sense of humor. I will miss working with him. My deepest condolences to his wife and family.

While I knew Greg only through working him remotely, he was joy to work with and always helpful, even with unusual, "dumb", or challenging questions.
I pray for the peace of God for his family as they remember the blessing he was to them.

I only knew Greg through the internet and over the phone. We never had a chance to meet face to face. Greg was very helpful and a joy to work with. His contributions allowed me to deliver over 7 years of quality mainframe education to hundreds of students. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go with you and your family.

I had the fortunate circumstance to work with Greg over the last year. I always found him to be upbeat and with a good sense of humor, especially when we were trying to resolve technical problems. He was a true professional and a caring person. I will miss him.

I first met Greg 12 years ago while working for IBM. There is nothing that I can add to what already has been said about Greg professionally. He was one of the best. Fortunately for me I spent a good deal of my time working with Greg. Not long after arriving in Poughkeepsie my wife was diagnosed with cancer and I had some serious vision problems. Through all of this Greg was my closest friend and although he may never have realized it he was like a second father to me. His deep geniune concern, wisdom and insight helped me in more ways then I can mention here. I guess he knows now. He always spoke with such pride of Mary Ann, their 4 daughters and grandchildren. He was that kind of man. Tonight we all feel a trememdous sense of loss. All of you will be in our thoughts and prayers. As Greg always ended each letter or email, Peace.

I have only known Greg for about 1 1/2 years. He was instrumental in our universities transition from our local mainframe to the one at Marist College. I would not have made it if not for Greg. I could always count on the absolute best job being done by Greg and the crew at Marist. He also had a good sense of humor - so that when I was pulling my hair out, he would say something that would bring me back to earth.
Greg - you will be greatly missed.

I worked with Greg for many years at IBM. We've been having 'geezer lunch' for the last 7 years or so. Greg was so much more than a co-worker. He was the best man and the best friend that I met there. His upbeat attitude and beautiful outlook on life was always looked forward to.
Last night, I watched 4 hours of "Star Trek" in his honor.
