I knew your father only as Fred, the man who came into our bookstore just about every night to order a hot chocolate. I wanted to offer my sincerest condolences on his passing.
At the store we deal with a lot of regular customers, but Fred was certainly my favorite. He was sweet and a joy to talk to after a day full of complaints and impatient customers. I looked for him when I worked a closing shift for the past five years. It's not the same without him there.
