We remember Ruth fondly from when she and her dear husband Ed helped out at Hyde Historical Society's Little Red Schoolhouse. She and Ed shared their memories of attending a one-room school. They were such a lovely couple. Now they can be together again. Don't know what elese to say, except that we enjoyed your mother (and father) so much, and we are so sorry for your loss. God Bless Ruth and Ed and your family in this time of loss.

My memories of Ruth will say in my heart as long as I am alive. She was such a warm, giving woman; someone who was always willing to listen, advise and let you know she truly cared for you. May she rest in peace with Eddie and may her family find comfort in knowing that so many people feel her loss.

I knew Ruth when I lived in Wappinger Falls on Wheeler Hill. My fondest memory was at Christmas time when our youngest daughter (Robyn) would place the baby Jesus in the manger underneath her tree. She was a great friend and neighbor. My thoughts & Prayers are with her family.

Donna, So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. We have the greatest memories of times on Wheeler Hill spent with your Mom and Dad especially around the holidays. It was my daughter Robyn's place to put Jesus in the manger on Christmas Eve. Your Mom and Dad use to look forward to us coming there and we had such a good time and felt so at home.

Ruth was a "Life Member" of our Town of Hyde Park Historical Society and was always an active and helpful member. She especially enjoyed volunteering at our Little Red Schoolhouse. Even though she moved to California, she called us once in a while as she enjoyed hearing what was going on in Hyde Park.
With our sincere condolences to her family and friends. May Ruth rest in peace as she joins her husband Ed in Heaven!
