Joshua Campilii Joshua Campilii, a resident of Washington, Georgia, entered into rest Thursday, July 12, 2007 in Washington, Georgia. He was 5. Son of Douglas Merrill and Mary Campilii, he was born June 12, 2002 in Poughkeepsie, New York. Josh enjoyed all things outdoors, especially helping mow the grass and helping in the garden. He also enjoyed horses and the times he went horseback riding. He wanted to be a police officer when he grew up and was looking forward to starting school in a few weeks. In addition to his parents, Douglas Merrill of Ocala, Florida and Mary Campilii of Washington, Georgia, he is survived by his grandparents, Minnie Dul of Wappingers Falls and Rudolph Campilii, Sr. of Wappingers Falls; his former step-father, Robert Lapolla; his aunts, Jacqueline Boysa and her husband, Robert, Anita Galente and her husband, Michael, Danine Long, Lisa Satallente and her husband, Ron; his uncles, Rudolph Campilii, Jr. and his wife, Carol and Joseph Dul, Jr. and numerous cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his step-grandfather, Joseph Dul, Sr. Family will receive their friends from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, July 16, 2007 at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Tuesday, July 17 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wappingers Falls.
