Dear Kate and family,
I haven't been in touch with you or Tommy for many years. But I just heard of his passing and am filled with grief. I remember him as a precious boy filled with joy and a love of life. I'm sure he grew to be a wonderful man.
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."
I will remember him always.

Tommy was a friend that I loved dearly and I am heartbroken to learn of his passing. Reading the memorials on this posting are comforting because I know all these stories to be true. I can picture all of them in my mind. Tommy was a good friend to me and kept me company for many evenings, and put up with all kinds of crazy antics. Remembering an evening when he reluctantly consented to a night of dancing at a nearby club - not his choice for a fun evening - brings me to giggles. He was a good sport and a real delight. My mother always smiles when we talk of him because she recalls his ballet tutu wearing days in junior high to celebrate Halloween. I am terribly sorry for your loss. I will always remember him with love in my heart and gratitude for knowing him. He was a wonderful person.

My deepest sympathies to you all on this day. Although I had not seen Tommy in a long time, I still remember his quick wit and great sense of humor with fondness. I will remember him wearing a satisfied look relaxing after a long hike... just happy to be wherever the hike took him whether it be Overlook Mountain, Awasting, or the hike we all took up near Lake George when it got so dark we barely found our way to the bottom. Those were fun times, and I will always think of Tommy when I think of those days

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and shock upon reading of Tommy's death. Tommy and I were friends at Roy C. Ketcham HS. I hung out with him and some other friends...Dave Cohen and Lauren Smith to name a couple. Tommy was always so much fun to be around and always could make me laugh. I remember that he would often bring me flowers he picked from the gardens he loved to tend to at the house. I guess I was lucky to have also seen his very sweet side too. We lost touch after graduation, but I would often see him working outside in the yard at the family home as I would drive by. I would always honk and yell "Tommy" out the window. How sorry I now am that I never did stop to say hello and reconnect with him. I am profoundly sad for your loss of Tommy and I will always remember him as my friend.

Thomas and I met and became friends while we attended SUNY-Cobleskill. Unfortunately we lost contact over the years. It was startling to hear such tragic news. My deepest condolences.

We are both so sorry for your loss. Tommy was a kind and caring man--I am so glad I got to spend some time with him in Seattle.
