Daughter of the late Leonard C. and Emma Harrison White, she was born March 21, 1933 in Rotterdam, New York. She was a 1950 graduate of Draper High School, Rotterdam.
On August 31, 1952, she married Arthur G. Ryan at the Carmen Methodist Church, Rotterdam. Mr. Ryan survives at home.
She was happiest when surrounded by her family - her husband, children and beloved grandchildren. She enjoyed watching many softball and baseball games, was a proud hockey grandmother as well as the many other activities she did with her family. In addition to her husband of fifty-four years, Arthur G. Ryan, she is survived by her children, Eileen Connolly and her husband, Thomas J. of Wappingers Falls, Susan E. Ryan at home in Wappingers Falls, and Arthur L. "Skip" Ryan and his wife, Carolyn of Red Hook; her brothers, George E. White of Rotterdam, Jack A.
