Obituary of Vincent Quicci

Vincent "Vinny" Quicci Vincent "Vinny" Quicci, a resident of the Town of Wappinger and formerly of Yonrkers, entered into rest, Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. He was 51. Son of the late Vincent and Elizabeth Pisano Quicci, he was born May 18, 1955 in Yonkers. He married the former Linda Raffi on August 21, 1976 in Yonkers. Mrs. Quicci survives at home. Vinny was a successful business owner of Neighborhood Contracting in Wappingers Falls. He was a member of Beekman Country Club where he enjoyed golfing. He was also a diehard Yankees fan. Most importantly, he was a loving husband and father. He was tremendously proud of his two boys, James and Richard. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Linda Quicci at home; his two beloved sons, James Vincent and Richard Michael Quicci of Wappingers Falls; his two sisters, Patricia Haase of Dover and Barbara Petula of Cortlandt Manor; seven nieces, Patti, Athena, Maria, Barbara Ann, Susan, Christine and Bonnie; two nephews, Michael and John; his beloved cousins, Elaine and Jack Rohlman and numerous friends who truly meant a lot to him. Family will receive their friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Friday, October 20, 2006 at Straub Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A funeral service will held at 10 am on Saturday, October 21 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Fishkill Rural Community Mausoleum, Route 9, Fishkill.
