Dear Pat and Family,
It took me some time to write. Im sorry for your loss and mine. Frank was one of the greatest men I have ever known. In the forty years that I was given to know him, he was there to answer my questions about life and some technical, he could make things work. But he was the best listener, as a teen and a Boy Scout he was just up the road.
By example, he showed me loyalty, love, honor, and family values and he could always make me laugh.
He saw the funniest part of ever situation good or bad. We, as boy scouts, call him Fearless Leader. He would stand up to the establishment, and take on any problem.
{I have a lot of stories] The things that will always stay with me, is his love for family and children, sitting down at your dining room table was always an experience. I can remember little Frankies words of wisdom as he whispered to me if you want a lot eat fast Me and mine will surely miss him and about a hundred boys whos lives he has touched and made better. GOD BLESS YOU ALL
LOVE,
BOB YAZZETTI and family.

He will always be "Mr. Simone" to me and I am sad to hear he is gone. First in Sea Cadets and later in Boy Scouts, he and Bob Yazzetti were very influential in my life. As a matter of fact, Frank once saved my life though I did not realize it at the time. We were camping in Brooksies cabin and in the middle of the night, he pulled me from my top bunk, sleeping bag and all to help my asthma. That may have been when he nicknamed me "Wheezer" which of course became my name for many years. He was a good man who influenced many young lives. He also shared his love of his family with us and I remember you all fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bill Griffin and family in Ithaca, NY

I went through school with Mr. Simone's son, Frank and his wife. I knew the other brothers as well and got to know them better when Dottie married my brother, Michael. I am sorry for their loss. He was such a pleasant person and I'm glad we shared family "events" with Mr. Simone as well as the rest of the family.

I am terribly sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I had the pleasure of taking care of Frank and meeting many of his family during his inpatient stays at Vassar Brothers RCU over the past 3yrs. You were all very dedicated and caring to your fathers ongoing illness and constant care. I will miss his smile, patience and sense of humor. Special thoughts and prayers to Fred through this most difficult time.
Sincerely,
Loralie
