Obituary of Dennis J.P. Fellmeth

Dennis J.P. Fellmeth Dennis J.P. Fellmeth, a resident of Fishkill and formerly of Yonkers, entered into rest Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 65. Son of the late David J. and Vera Wasilik Fellmeth, he was born October 9, 1939 in Yonkers. He attended St. Mary's Elementary School in Yonkers and Croton Harmon High School. Dennis was a tree surgeon working for several tree services locally. He married the former Jean Purdy. Mrs. Fellmeth survives at home in Fishkill. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Derold "Chip" Fellmeth and his wife, Sheree of Corbin, Kentucky and Daniel Fellmeth of Fishkill; his daughter, Dawn Roberts of Fishkill; his brothers, David Fellmeth of Hawaii and Kevin Fellmeth of Yonkers; his four grandchildren, Dennis, III, Damien "Korie," Deven and Kymara; nephews, Kevin Michael, Edward, Andrew, Thomas Andrew and James Michael; and nieces, Lisa Marie and Christine Ann. He was predeceased by his son, Dennis J.P. Fellmeth, Jr. in 2000. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2005 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, South Avenue, Wappingers Falls, NY. Reverend Edward L. Hunt will officiate.
