Lori,
We were so sorry so read about you mom. I remember how kind she was the few times I had the opportunity to speak with her. You were truly blessed to have such a wonderful mother and she was blessed to have such a loving, caring daughter. Our hearts go out to you and your family.

I am sorry I cannot make it to the wake or funeral for your dear mother, as I would wish to share in this momentous event. It was very devastating for myself and siblings when my mother passed away on 8/4/82. It takes a very long time to process all the memories of a lifetime. Grief counseling is helpful and so is understanding that people grieve in many different ways. You will feel something of a void in your life and filling it in a way that honors your mother is especially healing. Most important for now is to be very gentle with yourself and others.
Many blessings to you all,
Paulette and Emil Smyte

I am so sorry for your loss. Nancy was my moms sister. Nancy was always so kind and sweet. I enjoyed talking with her on the phone. I loved hearing her talk about all the animals that she would feed from her house. She also loved to talk about her children and their families. She will be missed by all that knew her. God Bless you Nancy. May you rest in peace.

Lori and Bob,
Really, really sorry to hear about your mom. Stef told me and I was truly
shocked. I only knew your mom thru Stef, but the stories she told me let me know she was a unique, wonderful lady. God bless you all.

My Deepest Sympathy to you and yours for your loss. I enjoyed working with Nancy at the info desk at VBMC years ago. Moving to Texas required a note once in awhile to each other and I will miss those. May this sorrowful time allow you to reflect upon all the joy that you all once shared.

I knew Nancy from her years at VBH (not VBMC!). She was always such a pleasure. And I was SO happy when she recently visited the gift shop on an evening I was there. She was SO, SO proud of her family - all of you. Ladies like here are not easy to find. I'm so glad I was lucky enough to know her. Our thoughts are with all of you. Ann Santos
