Obituary of John Perrotti
John Perrotti
John Perrotti, a resident of Lake Worth, Florida and formerly of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Hospice of Palm Beach County in Atlantis, Florida. He was 86.
Son of the late Pasquale and Rosaria Farinacci Perrotti, he was born January 4, 1925 in Italy. John was a World War II veteran, in the United States Army serving in the Pacific Theater. He married Irene Florio on April 26, 1953. Mrs. Perrotti preceded him in death on October 4, 1978. He married Loretta Marcinelli on January 4, 1981. Mrs. Perrotti preceded him in death on December 2, 1995.
John worked as a carpenter with New York City and Westchester County Carpenters Unions, retiring in 1992. John was a parishioner of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Lake Worth, Florida.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Restivo and her husband, Arnold, and Elisa Meyer; and his grandchildren, Justin, Angela, Christopher, Elizabeth, Jonathan and Joseph, as well as several step-children, nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls.
Memorial donations in John's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
