Obituary of Richard John Rueger

Richard John Rueger Richard John Rueger, a five year resident of Ticonderoga, New York and formerly of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest, Friday, April 30, 2010 in Ticonderoga. He was 56. Son of the late Ernest R. and Genevieve Schwankert Rueger, he was born March 3, 1954 in Poughkeepsie. While in High School he was an accomplished runner in Track and Field. He graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelors Degree in history. In his free time, he enjoyed reading the bible and about the lives of saints. Survivors include his son, Holden Rueger; his sisters, Karen Habra of San Jose, California and Irene Scofield of Poughkeepsie; his brother, Neal Rueger of Boise, Idaho; his nieces, Elise Habra, Christine Carbonetti and Emily Koskey; his aunt, Anne Schwankert of Ocean Grove, New Jersey; his uncle, William Rueger of Paonia, Colorado as well as his friends in Ticonderoga.
