Janina,
Jim was an interesting mixture of being quiet and yet openly friendly and caring, similar to you. Working with him at Dorsey was a pleasure. He was always anxious and willing to share his knowledge and experience with everyone. When he retired I certainly missed him. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Janina, I am a cousin of Grace and Charlie Mahoney, Jim's brother. I too am widowed -- my husband, Noah, died March 4, 2007. I am so very sorry about your loss and my prayers are with you and your family.

I went to Wappingers Central School with Jim and walked to his house on Remsen Avenue in the morning to meet him so we could walk on to school together. We enjoyed classes together and fun walks home. I fondly remember Jim as a some-what quiet guy who always had a smile and a caring heart. He was very respectful of his classmates and teachers.
May God bless Jim's family in this time of loss.
