Mr, Gaw was a regular patron at my Library. We always had a chat about what he was doing, whether it was about a book or making maple syrup at the park. I always enjoyed our conversations. My sincere condolences go out to the family. He will truly be missed.

My deepest condolences to the Gaw family. I remember Mr. Gaw coming over and visiting when we were smaller. He was a great friend to my grandparents (Mim and Will Gower). I remember some of his stories from his visits, he was always very much a gentleman and I enjoyed his visits whenever he came. My thoughts and prayers will be with your family.

I was so sad to hear that Mr. Gaw passed away... I have very fond memories of him while I was growing up, visiting with my grandparents (Will & Mim Gower) - he was always so nice to me, and I know a very good friend to them as well - my deepest condolences for you all.

I was saddened to read of the passing of Don Gaw. I have fond memories of him as a vital part of our volunteer guide group at Dutchess County's Bowdoin Park. He loved helping with the school programs and the children enjoyed him. He was a real gentleman too.
Peace, Carolyn Plage, once-upon-a-time coordinator of the Volunteer Guides at BP
