Obituary of Michael A. Miele

Michael A. Miele, Sr. Michael A. Miele, Sr. of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Monday, January 26, 2009 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was 58. Son of the late Antonio and Grace Ferrari Miele, he was born on February 27, 1950 in Bronx, New York. He married the love of his life, Tina Gentile on August 20, 1972 in the Bronx; Mrs. Miele survives at home in Wappingers Falls. In addition to his wife, Tina, survivors include his son, Michael A. Miele, Jr. of Wappingers Falls; brother, Anthony Miele of Pennsylvania; aunt and uncle, Jean and Bob Miele of the Bronx; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive their friends on Thursday, January 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 30 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Michael's name to a charity of one's choice.
