Obituary of Richard C. Relyea

Richard C. Relyea Richard C. Relyea Sr. of Clayton, NC formerly of Wappingers Falls entered into rest on Tuesday September 30, 2008. He was 65. Son of the late Carleton I. and Catherine Wendel, he was born on October 17, 1942 in Poughkeepsie, NY. Richard is survived by his two sons, Steven Relyea and Laura Sterling of Walkill, NY and Christopher and Rose Marie Relyea of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, a daughter Jennifer LaDuke of Clayton, NC and a special friend Victoria Bechtold of Hopewell Junction. Also surviving are his sister Cathy Relyea of Red Hook, NY, brothers Robert and Christine Relyea and Ronald and Jo Relyea of Wappingers Falls, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Richard C. Relyea, Jr. and a sister Patricia McAuley. "Richard reminds all his friends to have their periodic check ups" Family will receive their friends on Friday October 3, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday October 4, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Service will follow the calling hours at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Wappingers Rural Cemetery, Wappingers Falls..
