Obituary of Henry Mayron

Henry Mayron Henry Mayron, a resident of the Town of Poughkeepsie, entered into rest Monday, October 6, 2008 at Elant at Fishkill. He was 87. He was born September 5, 1921 in New York City and married the love of his life, the former Mary Baldi in 1944. Mrs. Mayron preceded him in death on December 14, 2002. Prior to his retirement in 1991, Henry worked as an engineer at IBM in East Fishkill. His career afforded him the opportunity to combine his chosen profession and his love of travel. He enjoyed being accompanied by Mary on his many trips around the U.S. and abroad. He is survived by his children, Laura Ingoglia and her husband, Nicholas, of North Caldwell, New Jersey and Ray Mayron and his wife, Barbara Bezdicek, of Haiku, Hawaii; his brother, Nathan Mayron of Florida; his sister, Shirley Levine of Florida; his grandchildren, Emily and Michael Sahuto, David and Daniel Michelson and Laura Mayron; his great-grandchild, Julian Sahuto and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive their friends on Friday, October 10, 2008 from 4 to 8 pm at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main St., Wappingers Falls. Private entombment will be in the Poughkeepsie Rural Community Mausoleum, South Avenue, Poughkeepsie.
