Ruth and Phil were close friends of my wife, Lee & I - and both of your parents will be greatly missed. My wife, Lee, passed last year, and so I know that this is an incredibly tough time for all of you. I regret that I could not attend the services for your mother, but I was visting my daughter in Virginia at the time, however my thoughts and prayers are with you, and I send my deepest sympathies.

I worked as an operator from 1970-1973 with Ruth. I married on June 3,1972 and she, Dottie Marone and Mrs. Manzi gave us a beautiful set of silverware as a wedding present which I still use. Ruth was a wonderful, sweet and caring person who I have thought of fondly through the years. I still work for the phone company (now Verizon) since moving to FLorida in 1978. I still try to keep up with the hometown news though and was sad to read of Ruth's passing. My deepest sympathy to her family.
