Obituary of Mary Benjamin

Mary Benjamin Mary Benjamin, a lifelong resident of Spring Valley, entered into rest Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Victory Lake Nursing Center, Hyde Park. She was 96. Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Antionek Kaminsky, she was born March 11, 1911 in Spring Valley. Mrs. Benjamin was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, Spring Valley as well as the Senior Citizen's Club in Spring Valley. She is survived by her daughter, Joan A. Gomes of Wappingers Falls; her sons, Alphonse Ricco of Poughkeepsie, Robert Benjamin of Greer, South Carolina and Charles Benjamin of South Fallsburg, New York; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at St. Mary Mother of the Church, Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, New York. Arrangements are under the direction of Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls.
