I am so sad for your loss. I met your Mom through St Mary's Religious Ed many years ago and was very impressed by her strong faith. I also was fortunate to have known her as a "shopper at Filene's". While I was employed there I would help her with some "bargins" and we had some chuckles during our search for the perfect purchase. My last memory was at 9 AM mass when I waited to for her at the back of church to see how she was doing. I lost my own Mom in June (she was 96) and I know how much you all will miss yours as I do mine.......... Ginny Bailey

Our Thoughts and prayers go out to all Eileen's family and friends. Our memories of Eileen are filled with smiles and laughter. The ultimate "Irish Girl" in our hearts. We were thrilled when she told us she was going home to Ireland last year. "Eileen, at the Quiet Man during the Dutchess County Parade this year, shall sit a pint in your memory." With Love, Hugs and Fond Memories, Jim & Kathy.

My sincere condolences to all family and friends...
I met "Grandma" on the trip to Ireland last November. I must say that in the few days that I spent with her she had a very special impact on me. It really seemed that we knew each other for a long time as there wouldn't be a minute go by without us kidding and teasing each other. She was a special loving and caring person that had an amazing sense of character and wit. I can't even imagine the loss for everyone that knew her for a sizable period of time. I feel a great loss with only knowing her a few days.
Goodbye Grandma. We all know that you are in a much better place.
Mike

Although I did not know Auntee Eileen well, as I was one of the last born to Eileens brother Jim. I thought I would share some comforting thoughts my Dad told me in his passing. He said "Son, I love and will miss you and your brothers and sisters very much, but I miss my mother and father very much and am looking forward to being with them again". My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love Tommy Monaghan

My Dear Cousins,
Although we don't see one another as often as we wish, please know that I think of you and, especially at this time, I have such sweet memories of us all together with your mother and father when we were kids. Your mother was always the life of the party -- I have a particular memory of her as "master of ceremonies" when we had a family tribute to Uncle Leo sometime around 1962. I was so impressed I still remember the joke she told!
Love,
Maureen
