Obituary of Patricia H. Lessner

Patricia H. Lessner, of Wappingers Falls, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her daughters on August 20, 2014 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, Newburgh. The daughter of the late Melville and Babette Steindler Heymann, she was born June 29, 1940 in New York City. Patricia married Robert E. Lessner on June 5, 1960. Mr. Lessner passed away in 2011. She loved the New York Yankees and her biggest joy in life was her grandchildren. Patricia is survived by her loving daughters, Debra Gioquindo and her husband, Paul and Donna Green and her husband, Joseph; her son, Peter Lessner; her brother, James Heymann and his wife, Nancy; her grandchildren, Michael and Melanie Gioquindo, Shane and Chase Green and Matthew, Kevin and Noah Lessner. Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. Funeral services will be private.
