I only had known Mary for the last couple of years, but so enjoyed her spunk and her political stories going back years ago. She was an incredible woman, with so much energy and caring for others. I will miss her. - Sandy

I met Mary about four years ago in the RSVP office. I was with Volunteer Caregivers at the time. She was full of life! We hit it off, and when Volunteer Caregivers was going to lose some funding, Mary was right there on the phone - at the age of 86, lobbying county legislators to reinstate the money. The vote passed. We got the money back! In fact, she was the one who gave me the news! God bless her. She was a remarkable woman. My deepest sympathy to all in the family. I will miss her, too. Susan Davidson

My deepest sympathy to the Cuccia family. I met Mary in 1988 and we became friends from day one. I worked in the South Hills Mall and it was alway a pleasure to see her. I always enjoyed the times that we shared together, the many lunches and dinners that we had along with the long chats. I will always hold her dear to my heart. The world has surely lossed a great lady. God bless you Mary all my love.

Sending my sincere sumpathy to Mary's family. I now live in Cary, NC but previously lived in Poughkeepsie and knew Mary through RSVP and admired her continued drive to volunteer. She will be missed by the many lives she touched!
