Obituary of Patricia A. Cassisi

Patricia A. Cassisi Patricia A. Cassisi of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 67. Daughter of the late Leonard Ward and Edna Smith, she was born on December 16, 1939 in Peekskill. Patricia worked as an Inmate Records Coordinator for the New York State Department of Corrections, until her retirement. She loved to paint. She also loved her cats, especially Jasper. Survivors include her son, Anthony Cassisi and his wife, Helen of Cortlandt Manor; her daughter, Michelle Loiodice and her husband, Nicholas of Dover Plains; her sister, Lois Soriano and her husband, Peter of Peekskill; her beloved grandchildren, Christopher and Lauren; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive their friends on Saturday, January 6 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Straub Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A funeral service will be held following visitation at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wappingers Falls.
