Obituary of Theodore Herrington

Theodore Herrington Theodore Herrington, a resident of Poughkeepsie, entered into rest Saturday, August 26, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie. He was 88. Son of the late David and Helen Duda Herrington, he was born March 16, 1918 in Greenwich, New York. He married the former Elizabeth J. Myer. Mrs. Herrington survives at home. Theodore proudly served his country during World War II. He retired from IBM, East Fishkill as a project manager. He was a former member of the Community Methodist Church in Poughkeepsie as well as a former Mason. In addition to his wife, Elizabeth J. Herrington, he is survived by his children, Carolyn J. Herrington of Wappingers Falls, Richard P. Herrington of the Town of Poughkeepsie and Jill Marie Herrington of the Town of Rochester, his sister, Gladys Bengle and her husband Paul of Greenwich, NY; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Greenwich, New York. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Straub Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls.
