Obituary of Matthew L. Wells

Matthew L. Wells, a resident of Kingston and formerly of Wappingers Falls, died on July 26, 2014 at his home. He was 41. Son of Lyndon "Ka-Bob" and Brenda Marshall Wells, he was born May 18, 1973 in Beacon. Matt Wells was many great things. He was a musician, writer, traveler, friend and strived to be what you needed him to be. He was a son to Lyndon "Ka-Bob" and Brenda Wells; a brother to Eli Wells; Papa to Amma Lee Wells; uncle to Hunter and Marybella Wells; and a nephew and cousin. He will be remembered by many who had been graced by his presence. He had a versatile and eclectic taste for life and would want everyone to remember the good times and celebrate his life; not dwell in the misery of grief. Family will receive friends on Thursday July 31, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. Everyone is asked to bring stickers that remind you of Matt. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 1 at the funeral home.
