Fran, Mary, Dan & Family
We are sorry to learn of your loss and want you to know that we are thinking of you all.
It is my understanding that Marie did much to help residents at Maplewood and was a very active person in general.
As difficult as losing Marie is, perhaps her not having to spend months, or even years, of not being able to do for others, as was her nature, is a blessing.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Juanita

To Fran,Fred,Chris,Mark,Mary,Matt,Stephen,Gerard,Jeannie,Lizzy & Danny,Joe & family,
So sorry to hear about your Mom. What wonderful memeories I have of her & your entire family. Camping trips, the pool at Kingwood park, the Roth bookshop, etc. My first job at the bookstore, your Mom taught me how to make change. One day during the summer in the early 70's, your Mom & Mrs. Seaman loaded me & a bunch of her kids into the VW bus & took us all down to the Bronx Zoo. But that wasn't enough...she then took us all down to Battery Park & took us for a ride on the Staten Island ferry just for the heck of it. Why not, it was only a nickel! That was just one day of many special memories of her & your family. What a privilege it was to have known a extraordinary person like her. Billy Houghtaling

Dear Family of Marie, I was priviledged to know
Marie for many years as she, Jan and Hazel brought their cheerful faces to AA meetings--especially to the Snow building at HRPC. Marie never hesitated in her love and acceptance of all--no matter their state of mind or body. She must have a great family who will miss her very much. We share in your sorrow.

Dear Frances and all of the Roth family,
I wish that I could be with you on Tuesday. My family notified me that your Mom went to her eternal reward on Saturday.
I have so many happy memories of her and all of you...playing games and running around your house behind Nativity School (the old convent) and also in Kingwood Park...her chaperoning school trips...sleepovers, and sneaking me into the IBM Country Club. They were great times!
My special prayers are with you at this difficult time. Love, Chris Schultz (Sister Mary Joseph, SCC)
