Obituary of Philomena M. Bachant

Philomena M. Bachant Philomena M. Bachant, a four year resident of the Town of Poughkeepsie and formerly of Yonkers, entered into rest Sunday, June 4, 2006 at her home. She was 63. Daughter of Mary F. Morelli Cuccia and the late John A. Cuccia, she was born July 7, 1942 in the Bronx. Prior to her retirement in 1996, she was a LPN working through out Westchester County. In addition to her mother, Mary F. Cuccia of Wappingers Falls, she is survived by her daughter, Maria B. Pallo and her husband, Thomas of Poughkeepsie; her sisters, Marie G. Sakovsky of Hopewell Junction and Maryanne C. Miss of Colorado; her grandson Jeffrey Pallo and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Family will receive their friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday, June 5, 2006 at Straub Funeral Home, 55 East Main St., Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Tuesday, June 6 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wappingers Falls.
