Obituary of Colleen Rabenda

Colleen Rabenda of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Monday May 14, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 56. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. She fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith. Daughter of the late John Alexander and Germaine J. Alexander, she was born on January 9, 1962 in Poughkeepsie. Colleen attended Roy C. Ketcham High School, Class of 1981. She married Brian E. Rabenda on October 17th, 1987; Mr. Rabenda survives at home. In addition to her husband, Brian, she is survived by her children, Mindy Martinez, Alicia Rabenda, Brianne Rabenda; her brothers John Alexander and his wife, Barbara; James Alexander and his wife, Susan; Randall Alexander and his wife, Angela; Daniel Alexander and his wife, Christina; Shawn Alexander and his wife, Cindy; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family will receive their friends on Wednesday May 16, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
