Obituary of Bryan W. Hockler

Bryan W. Hockler, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 55. Son of Virginia Lake Hockler Harris of Fishkill and the late William Hockler, he was born April 28, 1962 in Beacon. Bryan worked as a Quarry Foreman with Thalle Industries in Fishkill. He was a member of the Chelsea Sportsman's Association. Bryan enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time on the lake at Great Sacandaga in the Adirondacks. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his companion of thirteen years, Lisa Hallock at home in Wappingers Falls; his children, William Hockler and Danielle Hockler; his siblings, Jeffrey Hockler, Timothy Hockler, Karen Harden, William Hockler, and Laurie Marinaccio; his grandchildren, Peyton and Aiden; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be held at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 26 at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Route 9 in Fishkill.
