Rudolph J. Veltre of Poughkeepsie entered into rest Monday, July 24, 2017 at The Pines at Poughkeepsie. He was 86. Son of the late Julius J. and Geraldine Meglio Veltre, he was born on October 31, 1930 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He married the love of his life, Eleanor K. Mahoney on June 20, 1953 in Elizabeth; Mrs. Veltre survives at home in Poughkeepsie. Mr. Veltre proudly served his country in the Unites Stated Air Force from 1951 to 1954.
