Obituary of Michael A. Stracquadanio

Michael A. Stracquadanio, a resident of Germantown and formerly of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 63. Son of the late Michael and Margurita DiNunzio Stracquadanio, he was born October 3, 1953 in the Bronx. Mike will be remembered for his great outgoing personality and his smile. He always had a story to tell, sometimes more than once. Mike had a huge heart and his smile will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his children, Victoria Doughty and her husband, Matthew of Poughkeepsie and Anthony Stracquadanio of Wappingers Falls and their mother, Lauren Davis of Wappingers Falls; his sister, Michele Troetti of Estero, Florida; his grandson, Benjamin Doughty; his nephew and niece, Adam and Alexandria Troetti; as well as his lifelong friends, Richard Kearns and Fr. Carl Johnson. Family will receive their friends on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 11 at St. Mary's Church, 11 Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls.
