Obituary of Brian P. Scott

Brian Patrick Scott of Cape Canaveral, Florida and formerly of Wappingers Falls entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at home. He was 28. Son of Kathleen Liston-Scott and the late Frank Scott, Jr., he was born on November 18, 1987 in Poughkeepsie. Brian graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School in 2005. He served his country the United States Marine Corps from 2008 until 2010. In his spare time, Brian enjoyed the outdoors; he loved fishing and farming. He especially loved the "Salt Life", spending time at the beach and scuba diving. Survivors include his mother, Kathleen Liston-Scott of Wappingers Falls; beloved brothers, Sean and Michael Scott of Wappingers Falls; grandparents, Patricia and Sol Feivish of Hopewell Junction, and Rosemary Anderson of the state of Florida; girlfriend, Jessica Caradonna of Marlboro; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 11 Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls.
