Obituary of Maria Da Conceicao Morgado Carvalho

Maria Da Conceicao Morgado Carvalho, of Lake Wylie, South Carolina and formerly of Wappingers Falls and Mount Vernon, entered into rest Thursday, March 31, 2016. She was born July 2, 1946 in Ferradosa-Alfandega Da Fe, Portugal. She married the love of her life, Francisco Carvalho on January 24, 1968 in Portugal. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2009. While living in Wappingers Falls, she was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls. Survivors include her sons, George and Paul Carvalho; her sister, Natalia Morgado Simoes; as well as several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 7 at St. Mary's Church, 11 Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls.
