Obituary of Marc S. MacKenzie
Marc S. MacKenzie, 65, passed away on February 27, 2024 in his home in Wappingers Falls, NY. He was the husband of Kaiima M. FaSenntao-MacKenzie. They shared 42 years of marriage together.
Born in Mt Vernon, NY, he was the son of Ulric B. MacKenzie, Sr and Eve De Meo. He graduated from Mount Saint Michael Academy in Bronx, NY in 1977. He had several businesses throughout the years and last worked for Arlington Central School District.
He loved God, his family, and sports. He enjoyed playing softball and watching the Yankees. He will be remembered for his friendly nature, kind heart, and sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Kaiima FaSenntao- MacKenzie; children, Nekaskii Deylii, Marc K. MacKenzie, Daiva MacKenzie and Kellan MacKenzie; brothers, Ulric Mackenzie, Jr. and Geoffrey MacKenzie; several nieces and nephews, and one granddaughter. He was predeceased by his parents, Ulric MacKenzie, Sr. and Eve De Meo.
The memorial service will be held at 2 pm on March 12, 2024 at Straub Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E Main St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590 with visitation from 1pm-2pm.
