I was so sorry to hear of Elsie's passing. The times I shared with her during activities at Zion were always filled with her enthusiasm and concern for others. She was a force to be reckoned with when she took on any project. Setting up schedules for events and special celebratory food tables was amazing. Her sense of humor was amazing even when things were too serious or when things went amiss. She would be first in line to comfort people who were having a tough time. She would make telephone calls to check up on people who were grieving or experiencing a hardship. Her calm, caring nature was always welcomed. I will always be grateful to her for the extra mile she went when one of my triplet granddaughters had to go through tough times and many surgeries. She was such an important presence to those around her. I pray with her family as they go through this difficult time. They can be comforted by the great affection that those who knew her felt about her. May God's grace be with them. Thank you, Elsie.

Elsie was such a beloved child of Christ and member of Zion! her spirit will continue to shine through her beautiful stained glass images hanging i the parish hall and the beloved crosses she made for the newly baptized. Her loving heart was known and cherished…I felt she was already one of God’s angel on earth. May she rest in peace and rise in glory!
