Obituary of Edward G. Busse
UPDATE: A celebration honoring the life of Ed Busse will be held on Saturday, May 13 at 1:00 p.m. at the Tap Room at Barton Orchards, 63 Apple Tree Lane in Poughquag NY. All are welcome to join Ed’s family as we remember Ed and celebrate a life well lived.
Edward G. Busse passed away at home on Sunday March 19, a few days before his 70th birthday. A native New Yorker and longtime resident of Dutchess County, Ed was a retired ConEd employee, Past President and Life Member of the Lost Wheels Motorcycle Club, and for the past 19 years an active and important part of the local live music scene. Ed’s jovial and boisterous personality endeared him to all he knew. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and is survived by a large extended family and ever-expanding network of old and new friends. His sudden and unexpected passing has left a gap in many people’s lives, and he is truly missed.
