Obituary of Rose E. Bambace

Rose E. Bambace of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie. She was 77.

Daughter of the late Anthony and Beatrice (Gartner) Maiuzzo, she was born on February 15, 1946. She married Carman P. Bambace on July 26, 1980; Mr. Bambace survives at home.

Rose worked as a medical secretary for various New York hospitals until her retirement. In her spare time, she was an artist. She was an avid painter, active in painting groups in Cornwall and Beacon. She also enjoyed playing the piano. Rose was a parishioner of St. Mary Mother of the Church in Fishkill.

In addition to her husband, Carman “Kim” Bambace, she is survived by her sons, Michael Molina and his wife, Angela of Wappingers Falls, and Gary Molina of Ossining; daughters, Jill Bambace of San Juan Baptista, CA, Mia Peterson of Pebble Beach, CA and Dana Duarte of Carmel, CA; and grandchildren, Michael John Molina, Matthew James Molina, Taylor, Isabel, Jake, Ryder and Colette.

Family will receive their friends on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street in Wappingers Falls.

A funeral service will be held during visitation at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
