Obituary of Carol Anne Bochar

Carol Anne Bochar, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at her home. She was 69. Daughter of the late Joseph and Norma Arkless Petruzziello, she was born May 17, 1946 in New Castle, England. After graduating high school she went on to Barbizon Beauty School. On December 1, 1968 she married the love of her life, Michael C. Bochar. Mr. Bochar survives at home in Wappingers Falls. Together with her husband, she owned and operated Tips to Toes in Wappingers Falls for over twenty years. In her free time she enjoyed crafting, especially crocheting, beading and ceramics. She was also known in the family for her love of cooking. Carol had a strong faith in the Lord. Most of all she will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband, Mike, she is survived by her children, Michael Bochar and his wife, Leah of Wappingers Falls and Tasha Cucinelli and her husband, Sean of Wappingers Falls; her brothers, Dave Petruzziello, Joey Sorrentino and Sal Petruzziello; her sister, Doreen Petruzziello; her grandchildren, Michael Bochar and Mikayla and Alexa Cucinelli; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Petruzziello. Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. during the visitation.
