Obituary of Judith M. Dugan
Judith M. “Judy” Dugan, entered into rest Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 82.
Daughter of the late Edward B. Chapman and Doris W. Cribley Chapman Collier, she was born August 17, 1940 in Sharon, Connecticut. She married Raymond F. Dugan, who preceded her in death in 1979.
Judy received her associate in business administration from Dutchess Community College in 1999. Judy worked at IBM and several investment firms prior to her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Mary Mother of the Church in Fishkill. She was a member of the Embroidery Guild of America, Skyllkill Chapter in Hyde Park; Marist CLS and was a devoted volunteer at Vassar Brothers Medical Center since 2007.
Survivors include her children, Dawn and Kevin York of Lords Valley, Pennsylvania and Jim and Amy Dugan of Lincolnton, North Carolina; her sister, Norma and Gerald Dolan of Clinton, New York; her brothers, Bill and Deb Collier, Neil Collier and Tom Collier; her grandchildren, Connor and his wife, Natalie, Travis, Kylie and Kara; as well as her niece and nephews, Megan Collier, Scott Williams and Ryan Collier.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 12 at St. Mary Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street in Fishkill. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Judy’s name may be made to St. Mary Mother of the Church, PO Box 780, Fishkill, NY 12524.
