Obituary of Curley Ware

Curley Ware, I a loving husband, dad, friend and hero died December 12, 2015. He fought for our country in the Vietnam War and then fought his battle with cancer. He dedicated 23 years to the VA Hospitals at Montrose and Castle Point and as a veteran he gave his all. Curley is a hero and an inspiration to many. He is not just a hero for fighting for our country; he is a hero because he was loving, caring, and genuine and gave his love and guidance to those he came in contact with. Curley is survived by his wife, Lisa Ware; son, Curley Ware, II; daughters, and grandchildren. He will be truly missed, but his love will carry on. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, in Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. following the visitation with Rev. Chris Boyd officiating.
