Obituary of Jane Picciolo

Jane Picciolo, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 73. Daughter of the late Alexander and Wilhelmina Meredith Mason, she was born November 26, 1942 in the Bronx. Jane worked as an Insurance Agent with Emery & Webb in Fishkill. She enjoyed spending time with her family and treasured the time with her daughters and grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Emily W. Picciolo of Wappingers Falls and Toni-Ann Slagle and her husband, Brett of Wappingers Falls; her sister, Sandra Stewart of Poughkeepsie; her brother, Alexander Mason, and his wife Beatrice of Pearl River; her grandchildren, Elyssa Nott, Danielle Nott, Breann Slagle, Abigail Birnstill, and Alexis Slagle; her nephews and niece, Robert Stewart, Janet Shaughnessy, Douglas Stewart, and Michael Stewart; as well as several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls. A memorial service will be at 8:30 p.m. during the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
