Many childhood memories to reflect upon over these last few weeks during Connie’s illness...growing up in a neighborhood filled with lovely families and shared experiences for all of us...Time gave us so many of the moments that have molded & shaped all of us. We learned at very young ages of the losses that can occur in our tightly knit community. From the sudden loss of our friend Mary, and then the devastating loss of John LoCasio, not too long afterward. I can’t help but remember those moments...Those lost are never forgotten. So, now we all reflect upon our dearly departed Connie...Another former member of our great family neighborhood. She was a beloved sister, friend, daughter, cousin, and in her most special role as Mother to Nick. I have my own funny memory of a time that Connie stayed by my side (upon my request) when we were all on a camping trip...It is a testament to Connie’s character and friendship. It meant a lot then, even more now. She stayed behind to care for me. It doesn’t go unnoticed or forgotten when someone does an act of kindness. May she Rest in the Arms of her Loving Family that are in Heaven to Receive her now...We will All Miss You...Gone Too Soon...Never To Be Forgotten...Janet DiSotto-Celestino and Family
