Obituary of A. Nick Cuomo

A. Nick Cuomo passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020. He was 69. He was born March 23, 1951 to Alfred N. and Agnes (Wresch) Cuomo in Corona, Queens, New York. He retired from Englehard IBEW Local 1783 in Peekskill. Nick enjoyed being outdoors, woodworking, sci-fi movies and listening to 60’s classic rock. He loved to go fishing with his daughters. Nick will always be remembered for his laughter and playing pranks. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Cuomo, his daughters, Jessica Miuccio and Janine Cuomo and her partner Kelly Quezada; his grandson, Sebastian; as well as numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is now reunited with his beloved Welsh Corgi, Nipper. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls. In compliance with NYS guidelines, wearing masks and social distancing are required and capacity is limited. Attendees should be prepared for a possible waiting period.
