Obituary of Alysha B. Simpfenderfer

Alysha Blake Simpfenderfer, a resident of Hopewell Junction, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was 25 years old. Alysha was born on June 13, 1990 the daughter of Michael and Lisa Zander Simpfenderfer in Poughkeepsie. She graduated from Ketcham High School in 2008. She was an ultrasound technician, working for Mount Kisco Medical Group in Poughkeepsie. Alysha was a much loved member of Calvary Chapel of the Hudson Valley, Poughkeepsie and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, Alysha is survived by her seven siblings, Aaron Simpfenderfer and his wife, Lori, David, Bradley, Joshua, Michael, Heidi and Kimberly; her nieces, Haley and Megan; her paternal grandparents, Will and Patricia Simpfenderfer; her maternal grandparents, Gary and Florence Zander; her many friends. Alysha also leaves behind her beloved dog, Sampson. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 4 to 7 pm at Calvary Chapel of the Hudson Valley, 36 Firemans Way, Poughkeepsie. A celebration of her life will be held at 7 p.m. at the church. Burial will be private.
