Mr. Bettina was my 6th grade teacher at South Avenue Elementary School in Beacon. He was my friend and confidant. I will miss him dearly. He was truly a one of a kind guy who would tell you like it is, was, and would be. I have always known him to be a straight shooter. I thank him and his family for the memories. I will always cherish our conversations and times together. My thoughts and prayers go to him and his family. Rest in peace, and may the Lord shed his blessings on you and your family. MJ

Susan, I am so sorry to hear of Vinnie's passing. So many fond memories of how many times he would come into the Bank bringing us All a treat. A kind gentle man who always had time for a visit and discuss his beloved Town of Wappingers and what was happening and all the things being accomplished. We were lucky to have him on our Town Board. I am sad to hear of Vinny’s passing. I ran into him awhile back and we chatted as if we never lost time.
I met Vinny and Angela when I was just a young man in my 20’s working at Edgar’s. Some fond memories for sure.

Vinny was one of those people who would always pop up from time to time. We graduated BHS together. When my husband, a classmate for all their school days, passed away, Vinny came into the funeral home at the last minute, begging to pay his respects. He had tears in his eyes. Always a fighter, always a gentleman. I wish he could pop up one more time. God bless him and his family. Rest In Peace, my friend.
